If you spend a lot of time on airplanes you should check out seat guru: http://www.seatguru.com/ Once you know your flight you can find out the equipment. Look it up on seat guru and you can find the good seats. On that Frankfort to LAX flight could use all the help it can get.
Thanks for the seatguru link. Fortunately with that artist any international travel is at least business class. On the flight over it was a Lufthansa codeshare operated by a Swiss charter company. An A319, all business class sleeper seats, 62 seats. Newark to Stuttgart. It was like flying charter.

Frankfort to LA, that’s a loooonngg flight. I hope you wern’t sitting in the back.
