Interesting stuff and not off the mark. But I have to say that guys like you, me, Jim, John Meyer, etc. have spent 30+ years taking care of each other on the road.Policies from manufacturers come and go-some are valid and some are lame but for whatever reason we live with them. I remember the days when downloading hadn't been invented and we relied totally on each other. At times we have to resort to"screw the policy", run below radar and get the job done whether it is via Blackberry, email, or "wake up Greg at the hotel". Also, Meyer Sound has had real problems with releasing schematics to the masses. Fake UPA's in Third World Countries for example.
