According to one who should know, iLife will be bundled with new hardware for at least the near future. I'd bet they keep bundling it with hardware, then using the upgrade revenue after they get you hooked with the hardware. There's a complete list of everything that ships with Tiger at (http://www.apple.com/macosx/techspecs/), and none of the iLife apps appear to be on that list. (For a little historical perspective, Panther shipped with the then-current iMovie 3 and iPhoto 2, which were free downloads anyway, and that led many to believe that Tiger too would ship with the current iLife apps, minus iDVD and perhaps GarageBand. However, starting with iLife '04, all of the apps except iTunes have become available only by buying the whole shebang.) However, you can get $38 off iLife '05, iWork, and Tiger through the end of May. Look for the iLife+iWork Savings on the online Apple Store (in the Tiger part of the left-hand sidebar).
