Sad around the Stagelite place today. Way back when, he competed with my boss in a few horse shows and was big in the rodeo circuit. We had worked with him and band and crew more times than I can count. We hadn’t even heard he was sick. R.I.P., Chris…
We did a bunch of gigs with him in the mid ’90’s, including a regional run up here of 8 or 10 shows. Good bunch, the lot of them. He was like one of the guys, real approachable, down to earth. Just the kind of guy you not only like to work for, but perhaps hang with. I also had no idea he was sick or had a liver transplant.
