I told him that as soon as the demand drove prices up enough that someone would start to produce tape again, but, like the new Telefunken microphones, to be prepared for "sticker shock" The Quantegy honcho mentions a price increase of ten percent or so to make it possible to go back into production What do you bet that the actual increase will be more, and that fewer people will be employed at the plant that makes the tape?
